Continue to do your part to help fight the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses

Continue the fight against COVID-19 and other viruses

Our elderly population are more susceptible to COVID-19 due to their age, compromised immune system and any underlying conditions.

Lewis Bailey Senior Home Care in Menifee, California encourage all visitors and guests to follow these simple guidelines to help stop the spread of this deadly virus.

Proper Hand Washing

Step 1: Get 6 paper towels.

(Always use a barrier between your hands and the faucet when turning on hot water)

Step 2: Turn on faucet with one paper towel and wet hands with running hot water: (i.e. 1 paper towel)

Step 3: Apply enough soap to cover both hands

Step 4: Scrub all surfaces of the hands, including the back, between fingers, palms, and under nails for at least 30 seconds.

(time enough to sing the Happy Birthday song)

Step 5: Rinse thoroughly with running hot water: (one hand at a time front and back)

Step 6: Dry hands with paper towels: (using one per surface on the hand (total of 4 paper towels))

Step 7: Use remaining paper towel as barrier to turn off faucet and pick up all Paper towels and put them in garbage.

Sneezing or Coughing Into the Elbow

If you don’t have a handkerchief or face mask and feel the need to sneeze or cough, you may do so into your upper sleeve or the inside of your elbow. Proper sneeze or cough etiquette helps prevent droplets from spreading.

PLEASE, WEAR A MASK!

The most important and effective way to curb the transmission of COVID-19 and other potential viruses is to stay at home. Staying at home decreases the chances of you getting the virus and unsuspectingly infecting your loved ones.

Let’s all do our part in the battle against COVID-19!
